GH Training Cycling Hub

The popularity of cycling events has grown steadily in the UK over the last few years.

Spectacular rides such as London to Brighton and Nightrider have always been popular and attracted thousands of riders to take on the challenge - but the allure of RideLondon is perhaps the Event most riders are keen to take on.

This year, RideLondon has been reborn, moving away from the Surrey Hills and now exploring 65 miles of stunning scenery through the countryside of Essex.

The 2022 RideLondon-Essex100  will see thousands of riders take on the 100 mile course, starting on Victoria Embankment and finishing to  at Tower Bridge.

So how can GH Training help with you prepare for that long, hilly or mountainous sportive?

Like all the GH Training Running and Trekking Hubs, the Cycling hub offers a range of training resources to help with every aspect of your sportive preparations - but for those training for the NEW RideLondon-Essex100 we've got an extra treat for you.

"Big Climbs" Tutorials

Following the popularity of our "POV" footage and tutorials on how to climb Box Hill and Leith Hill, we are thrilled to be able to offer the same insight into the new RideLondon-Essex 100 climbs.

With "in ride" footage of what you can expect from the climbs, how steep they get and how to best position yourself on the road for the most comfortable climb, you can start this epic event full of confidence that you know you've got the legs to tackle those key climbs.

Along with these insightful tutorials, the Cycling Hub also offers riders so much more:
